Short description:
Predoctoral researcher on Synthesis of one-dimensional nanomaterials for energy storage and conversionDescription:Manufacture of new materials based on carbon nanotubes and study of their properties as electrodes for photo (electro) catalytic processes. The activities to be carried out include design and construction of equipment for synthesis of nanomaterials by floating catalyst chemical vapour deposition, characterisation of nanomaterials by spectroscopic and electron microscopy methods, implementation of methods to catalyst control and study of factor controlling growth of nanowires in the gas phase.
Requirements:
Strong interest in experimental work is essential. Previous experience on characterisation of nanomaterials and/or manufacturing and study of structural composites will be positively evaluated. Command of written and spoken English is a prerequisite.
Conditions:
