TAREAS/TASKS:

Research on Integrated Communications and Sensing of User Equipment in the 26 GHz mmWave band

HABILIDADES-CUALIFICACIONES/SKILLS-QUALIFICATIONS: 

- Ability to break a problem down into its parts, think critically about each element, and use theinformation available to form an effective solution.- Managing of technical documents and searching for proper information to organize and develop specific tasks.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Excellent communication and organizational skills.- Fluency in English (writing and speaking) with a demonstrated proficiency.- Ability to manage engineering software tools. At least, MATLAB and and XIRIO- Programming skills with C++

REQUERIMIENTOS ESPECIFICOS/SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

- Accredited experience on programming of wireless devices.- Proven knowledge on current 5G systems and services.- Accredited hands-on experience on RF instruments.- Demonstrated knowledge on short range wireless communication systems, i.e. Bluetooth.

BENEFICIOS/BENEFITS:

The selected candidate will be integrated in the Radio Communications Research Group (GRC) of the Technical University of Madrid (UPM), so becoming a member of the staff and taking part in its activities. The selected candidate will participate in the design and deployment of experiments for conformance and validation tests of 5G user equipment in the 26 GHz mmWave band. The selected candidate will enjoy the opportunity to travel abroad in order to be acquainted with and learn about activities of researching groups in other countries.
