PostDoc position in digital twins for 6G mobile networks – NETCOM-lab Group

The candidate will work in the NETCOM-lab research Group, led by Albert Banchs.

The NETCOM-lab Group is looking for a PostDoc. The successful candidate will work closely with a world-leader industrial partner to do research on the use of digital twins to improve the performance of Artificial Intelligence in 6G mobile networks. The goal will be to publish the research results in top worldwide scientific venues and to patent them jointly with the industrial partners.

Skills Required

The position requires knowledge and experience in networking technologies. In particular, the following competences will be valued:

• a PhD degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering or related field, with a solid academic record
• good programming skills
• a strong interest in mobile networks, digital twins and AI for telecoms
• at least one of (a) knowledge of mobile networks or (b) strong AI know-how
• fluency in written and spoken English
• enthusiasm for interdisciplinary research.

Academic Qualifications

• PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field

• Very good research record, with publications in top academic conferences and journals
