We are looking for a highly motivated researcher interested in applying for a postdoctoral Juan de la Cierva contract (JdC AEI, 2023 Call) with our research group at HM CINAC, Fundacion de Investigacion HM Hospitales.

The research focuses on elucidation of mechanisms underlying Parkinson’s disease and novel technologies for applied therapeutic treatments for this disease. The lab is equipped with full equipment and the applicant will collaborate with members of other institutions. Recent publications at: https://scholar.google.es/citations?hl=es&user=EqHHm2YAAAAJ#.

A competitive Curriculum Vitae as well as meeting the requirements of the JdC 2023 Call is required. In addition, previous experience in neuroscience, animal models, immunohistochemistry and bichemistry will be highly valued. Candidates should also have at least one first author paper published or accepted in a peer-reviewed journal. Good organizational skills and attention to detail are required. The successful candidates will be responsible for independent design and execution of experiments as well as data analysis, interpretation, and communication of results.

This position is for a minimum of two years with possible extension and career advancement contingent on funding levels and performance. Initial salary level will adhere to standard pay scales for Juan de la Cierva Program. This position will remain open until filled.
