Bread Free is the first company in the world that manufactures gluten-free wheat flour. We have validated our technology through several research projects and trials with final consumers. Several products have no difference with traditional food regarding nutritional quality, texture and flavour. We are looking for someone with a passionate vocation to improve health of people through the application of Food Science and Biotechnology. Requirements:
• PhD in Human Nutrition, Food Biotechnology, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or similar.• Native English and Native/Fluent Spanish
• Ready to roll up your sleeves if needed.
• Be creative, autonomous and self-resolutive. We want to find solutions, we already know the problems.
Desirable skills:
• Experience in process engineering (upstream and downstream) at a lab and pilot to industrial scale.
• Experience managing teams and carrying out succesful projects, reporting main achievements.
• Look for the better results as soon as possible, first try and proof, then try it in a more complex way.

Main tasks to develop:• Develop new technologies to produce gluten-free flours.
• Design of engineering process to produce biotechnological compounds at a higher scale.
• Optimize and reduce costs of a biotechnological process.
• Study of different ingredients to improve organoleptic properties of final products.
