The successful candidate is expected to organize and perform all experiments related to a recent granted project aiming to investigate the role of a novel protein in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease.
Thus, the senior technician should have proven expertise in cellular and animal experimentation (cell maintenance, transfections, animal modeling, brain processing, mRNA extraction, lysates) as well as experience with the molecular/biochemical technologies needed for the successful performance of the project (immunohistochemistry, western blotting, qPCR, immunoassays).
The experienced technician should have also strong organization and communication skills, with high motivation to be involved in the development of a new research line within NEUROFAN group and with high capabilities to perform teamwork. Teaching experienced will be valued.
