HABILIDADES-CUALIFICACIONES/SKILLS-QUALIFICATIONS: 

Este contrato está principalmente dirigido a aquellos que han acabado el Máster (Máster en Ingeniería Industrial; Máster en Ingeniería de Organización; o similares), aunque también se tendrán en cuenta los estudiantes excepcionales que estén a punto de acabar el máster. Se valorará muy positivamente la realización de actividades de investigación previas en los campos de interés. Se requiere perseverancia, iniciativa, creatividad en la resolución de problemas y voluntad de colaboración con otros miembros del equipo investigador. 

This contract is mainly addressed to those who have finished their Master's degree (Master in Industrial Engineering; Master in Organizational Engineering; or similar), although exceptional students who are about to finish their Master's degree will also be considered. Previous research activities in the fields of interest will be highly valued. Perseverance, initiative, creativity in problem solving and willingness to collaborate with other members of the research team are required.

REQUERIMIENTOS ESPECIFICOS/SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

Es importante que el estudiante tenga gusto/facilidad para la programación; que se sienta cómodo manejando y analizando bases de datos; y tenga cierta familiaridad en la lectura/redacción de documentación técnica en inglés; ya que la mayor parte del trabajo consistirá en esto.   

It is important that the student has a taste/facility for programming; is comfortable handling and analyzing databases; and has some familiarity in reading/writing technical documentation in English; as most of the work will consist of this.

Possibility of carrying out the doctoral thesis. Possibility of teleworking. Participation in a research project (Pow3R) funded by the State Subprogram for Knowledge Generation 2023 in the framework of the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research 2021-2023. Integration in a working team within the research group of the UPM in “Computational Statistics and Stochastic Modeling”.

Se valorará mucho que el candidato DESEE REALIZAR LA TESIS DOCTORAL. Se valorará de manera muy positiva que el candidato haya realizado investigación científica previa, cursos de formación, cursos de aprendizaje de programación, etc.
