We have a PhD position open to work in hydrogen separation and purification through adsorption under the framework of an industrial doctorate. This project will assess different case studies regarding the separation of H2 from other gas components in an industrial context. Experimental work alongside process modelling/simulation will constitute the thesis methodology.
We are looking for candidates with an MSc in Chemical engineering or a related discipline, willing and highly motivated to combine this background with modelling and simulation tools.
The candidate will join the Energy Processes and Emission Reduction (PrEM) group of the Institute of Carbon Science and Technology (INCAR-CSIC), Oviedo (Spain), and will also spend working time in the industry (local).
A good level of English is required. Knowledge and a strong interest in computation tools (e.g., Aspen) are desirable.
If you’re interested, send a CV via email to Covadonga Pevida (cpevida@incar.csic.es) by May 10th 2023.
