Experiencia |
|
1. Requirements:
1. Academic degree: Doctor in Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or similar. 2. Specific training: Doctorate degree obtained after January 1, 2020. 3. Demonstrated research experience (see point 2) in the laboratory, mainly in cell and molecular biology, preferably applied to the study of cell signaling and pathways associated with stress in cell and/or animal models. 4. First author publications preferably in first quartile journals 5. Good level of spoken and written English 6. Availability to travel and live in different places.
2. To be valued:
1. Wet laboratory experience of cell biology, biochemistry and molecular biology with interest in cell signaling and inter-organelle communication: a. Cell culture and genetic modification (siRNA, CRISPR / Cas9, etc) b. DNA, RNA and protein extraction; PCR; qPCR, Sanger, NGS library preparation c. Protein work; Native and denaturing electrophoresis. Western blot. d. Flow cytometry and shorting e. Cell signaling, metabolism and stress mechanisms f. Microscopy. 2. Personal skills: easygoing, openminded (religion, gender, sexuality.), independence, resolutive, resilience. 3. Availability of training, travel and outside of working hours (If necessary) 4. Good level of English (Written and spoken) 5. Knowledge of omics sample preparation; DNA sequence analysis, RNAseq and metabolomics. 6. Interest in a scientific career and obtaining funding. 7. Extraordinary career awards, doctorate, European mention, etc. 8. National competitive scholarships (AECC internships, JAE Intro, etc.) and international (Erasmus +) 9.
