IMDEA Materials Institute is looking to fill two post-doctoral research positions in the area of modelling and machine learning. The researchers will work in the development of reinforced learning algorithms for the control of complex diffusive models and its application to disease transmission dynamics.
Successful candidates must hold a Ph. D. in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or some other discipline involving modelling, machine learning and programming and have a proven record of expertise in these topics. In addition, the following will be positively valued:
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
- Programming in C++ and Python; code development.
- Capacity to work independently.
- Analytical and communication skills.
- Experience with common machine learning libraries.
Full time contract including social security coverage. Salary depending on previous experience and credentials
