IMDEA Materials Institute is looking to fill a post-doctoral research position to participate in a research project on solid loads on polymers and feedstock development for metal injection moulding.
Requirements:
- Successful candidates must hold a Ph. D. in Materials Science and Engineering or related disciplines.
- Candidates should have experience/knowledge of the rheology of mixes, binders characterizing, injection, 3D printing of polymers/filaments, etc...
- Expertise in processing, extrusion, and additive manufacturing / 3D printing of multifunctional polymeric materials/composites together with the underlying polymer science of 3D printed materials is required
- In addition, the following will be positively valued:
- Analytical and communication skills.Experience with common machine learning libraries.Capacity to work independently.Fluency in English, written and spoken.Conditions:The full-time contract includes social security coverage. Salary depending on previous experience and credentials.
This contract will be co-financed by the Community of Madrid and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund Operational Programme (ERDF 2014-2020), funded as part of the Union's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
