The Inflammatory Bowel Disease Research Group led by Dr. Javier P. Gisbert and Maria Chaparro at Hospital Universitario de La Princesa (Madrid) is currently looking for postdoctoral candidates willing to apply for a Sara Borrell scholarship and Juan de la Cierva Formacion/Incorporacion programs. The candidate will incorporate into a project focused on the identification of predictive biomarkers to biologic therapies in inflammatory bowel disease by a proteomic approach. To that end, the researcher will be carried out the proteomic analysis of samples from inflammatory bowel disease patients before and after treatment with biological drugs to identify predictive biomarkers for response in Crohn´s disease and ulcerative colitis.
Requirements of the candidate:
• University Degree in Life Sciences
• Competitive curriculum (stay in a foreign research group, number and quality of publications, participation in research projects and other merits).
• Experience in molecular biology techniques, proteomic methodologies and bioinformatics tools to analyze omics data.
