The interstellar medium (ISM) group at the Astrobiology Centre in Madrid invites applicants to pursue a PhD devoted to the study of the chemical complexity of different regions of the ISM, with special attention to molecular precursors of prebiotic chemistry. The successful applicant will analyse the data from spectral surveys carried out with different radio and (sub)millimeter telescopes (ALMA, IRAM 30m, Yebes 40m, GBT 100m), under the supervision of Dr. Victor M. Rivilla (vrivilla@cab.inta-csic.es), expert on star formation and astrochemistry. This is a 3-year position to be filled by August 1 2021. The candidate should be in possession of a Physcis Degree and a Master in Astrophysics.
