We are INNOVARUM (www.innovarum.es) a company founded in 2013 and based in Madrid. We assist entities operating in the bioeconomy -mainly agri-food sector- in shaping, writing, and managing their R&D and Innovation projects.
We mainly work with start-ups and SMEs, but as well with large companies, Universities, Research and Technological Centers from across Europe. We team up with our clients and assist them in making their innovations real. We seek for a candidate eager to get engaged with innovation, passionate about industry and about the agri-food sector, who can work closely with clients, colleagues and project partners, and who can work to meet tight deadlines.

Description of the position and key activities
We look for a person with a senior profile to join our project management department to be in charge of the Horizon 2020 collaborative projects in which we participate.
The person to hold this position is intended to represent our company in the implementation of these projects, be in charge of their technical reporting, oversee their financial reporting, support the participation of other fellow partners, attend project events, be in charge or participate in the regular project management events, and to contribute to guarantee control and good performance of the project.
This position involves traveling nationally and internationally throughout Europe to project-related events and consortium meetings as well as periodic team meetings.
Eventually this person will give as well support with other on-going tasks.
Mandatory requirements
· University degree preferable in Agricultural engineering, Agronomy, Food technology, Biology, Chemistry, environmental sciences or similar.
· At least 5 years working in collaborative and multidisciplinary EU projects (H2020) and initiatives related to innovation in the agri-food sector, bioeconomy, and related issues.
· At least 2 years experiences carrying out public oral presentations.
· Fluency in English and Spanish is MANDATORY: C2 level both oral and written.
· Experience in team coordination.
· Excellent organisation, precision, and time management.
· Negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
· Flexibility, proactivity, and curiosity in undertaking new tasks.
· Availability to travel frequently (approx. monthly).
Desirable requirements and skills
· Excellent social skills and understanding of international contexts.
· Background on industrial processes and business & economics knowledge.
· Other languages besides from Spanish and English will be appreciated.
· Experience living/working in an international and multicultural environment.
Position characteristics
