H2020 EU funding in Marie Sklowdoska-Curie Action imposes strict eligibility criteria: At the time of recruitment the researcher must not have resided or carried out his/her main activity (work, studies, etc…) in the country of the host institute for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to his/her recruitment under the project. The researcher should also be in the first four years of their research careers at the time of recruitment by the host organisation and have not been awarded a doctoral degree.

The 15 PhD selected will be located in Spain (Seville), Portugal (Porto), Italy (Naples), France (Limoges) and Ireland (Galway) and they will have secondments in other international institutions. This Marie Sklowdoska-Curie project "M2ex" is an European Joint Doctorate. It means that the researcher will obtain a PhD between two Universities.
