We are seeking for a PhD candidate interested in carrying out a doctoral thesis associated to the research project “Development of Bio-Functional Nanostructured Surfaces as Next Generation Regenerative Medical Implants”.

The successful applicant will work as part of a very multidisciplinary team developing nanofabrication processes in polymer materials  to construct nanostructure-enabled functional surfaces for bio- aplications.

Requirements of the candidate:

- Recente Master's degree in areas related to Materials Science, Physics, Biophysics, Chemistry, or Engineering

- Excellent academic records  (>7/ 10 scale)

- Scientific background and interest in micro/nanotechnology

- Interest in multidisciplinary research

- Computer Skills: MATLAB, Origin, Labview, AUTOCAD , Solid Works

- Have a strong oral and written English communication skills
